There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a council member or citizen so request, and the request is for good cause in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
· Tree Planting & Removal: November 1, 2022-October 31, 2023 – 101 trees removed/104 trees planted.
· Tuesday, January 2nd thru Saturday, January 20th – Christmas Tree Collection
· Monday, January 8th thru Friday, January 12th – Metal Collection Week. Call the Department of Public Works to schedule pickup, 247-1907.
· Friday, January 12th - Blood Drive, Bayside Family YMCA (70 West Street, Bloodmobile), 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
· Monday, January 15th – Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Offices closed. Refuse and recycling normal collection day is moved to the next day for the week (Monday, January 15th thru Saturday, January 20th).
· Thursday, January 18th - Blood Drive, Barrington Public Library (Collis Family Gallery, 2nd Floor), 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Donations by Appointment (Walk-ins will be welcomed if availability permits at time of arrival).
· Sunday, January 21st, 1:00 p.m. & Wednesday, January 24th at 6:30 p.m. –DEI Film Screening and Discussion: “Disclosure,” Barrington Public Library (Salem Family Auditorium).
· Monday, January 22nd – Aging Optimally Symposium II hosted by the Peck Center for Adult Enrichment and Barrington Public Library, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
· Saturday, January 27th – Teen Mental Health Awareness Fair, Barrington Public Library, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event is hosted by the Confetti Kids of New England and co-sponsored by the Barrington Public Library.
· Harbor Commission: Michael Reuter effective immediately.
· Planning Board: Brian Morley effective immediately.
