Meeting Minutes
Council President Robert Ferri called the meeting to order at 6:04pm.
City Clerk, Sonia Grace, conducted the roll call. Present were Council President Robert Ferri, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilwoman Carlene Fonseca and Councilman Ken Vaudreuil. Councilwoman Stephanie Gonzalez, Councilwoman Ann Racquier and Councilwoman Tia Ristaino-Siegel were absent.
Council President Ferri led the pledge of allegiance.

a. Consideration of Petition for License

a. Mr. Colon was present. Motion to approve the license of Liam’s Market was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. Motion carried 4-0.
b. Motion to approve the renewal was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Figueroa. Motion carried 4-0.
a. Executive Session pursuant to R.I.G.L § 42-46-5 (a)(2), pertaining to litigation or work sessions pertaining to litigation.
i. Annette Bachand of 145 Cross St., Central Falls, RI in the amount of $37.50 for alleged damages to personal property on February 10, 2016.
ii. Jennifer Montoya of 1233 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI the amount of $257.00 for alleged damages to personal property on February 9, 2016.
b. Possible Consideration of Claims (a)(i)-(ii).
i. Ms. Bachand was present to speak on her claim. Motion to approve the claim of $37.50 was made by Councilman Vaudreuil, seconded by Councilwoman Fonseca. Motion carried 4-0.
ii. Motion to approve the claim of $257.00 was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Figueroa. Motion carried 4-0.
Motion to approve the first reading of the ordinance amending Chapter 14 “Courts” was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. Motion carried 4-0.
Mr. Joshua Giraldo, Chief of Staff, was present to provide an overview of the resolution and the proposed legislation.
Motion to approve was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Figueroa. Motion carried 4-0.
Councilwoman Fonseca spoke about the Women’s Day celebration taking place on March 6th at Navigant Credit Union.
Councilman Vaudreuil announced the Ralph J. Holden Scholarship dinner on March 4th.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Vaudreuil, seconded by Councilwoman Fonseca. Meeting adjourned at 6:19pm.
