Request for Special Use Permit, Use Variance, and Dimensional Variance

The City of Central Falls, 580 Broad St., Central Falls, RI, owner and applicant for 10 Higginson Ave. (Plat 9, Lot 50 in a P park zoning district) and 756 & 770 Lonsdale Ave (Plat 9, Lots 203 & 26, respectively, in a C-2 general commercial zoning district), is seeking a Special Use Permit for parcels AP 9 Lots 26 and 203 pursuant to Article III, Section 304, Table 1, Subsection 21.1 Educational Institutions in a C-2 zone; a Use Variance for parcel AP 9 Lot 50 seeking relief from Article III, Section 304, Table 1, Subsection 21.1 Educational Institutions in a P zone; and a Dimensional Variance for parcels AP 9 Lots 26 and 203 seeking relief from Article IV, Section 402, Subsection A (height restriction in a commercial zone) for the proposed construction of a new high school.
