Special meeting of the City Council was held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 869 Park Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island.

I. CALL MEETING TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 5:50 P.M. by the Council President.

II. ROLL CALL:

Roll call showed the following members present: Councilmen Campopiano, Buonanno, Councilwoman Haroian, Councilmen Andujar, Ritz, Traficante, Council Vice-President Wall and Council President Marino -8.

Absent: Councilwoman Graziano -1.

Also Present: John Verdecchia, Assistant City Solicitor; Stephen Angell, City Council Legal Counsel; Rosalba Zanni, Assistant City Clerk/Clerk of Committee.

III. COUNCIL BUSINESS MATTERS CARRIED OVER

Continued from the April 28, 2025 Regular Council meeting:

NEW CLASS BV LIQUOR LICENSE (vote may be taken)
OVER CAP REQUIRES FULL COUNCIL APPROVAL

Merlinos, LLC d/b/a Merlinos Pizzeria located at 889 Dyer Ave.
Jeffrey Merlino Hours: Wed-Sun 12pm-9pm

On motion by Councilwoman Haroian, seconded by Councilman Andujar, it was voted to approve the above liquor license application. Motion passed on a vote of 8-0. The following being recorded as voting “aye”: Councilmen Campopiano, Buonanno, Councilwoman Haroian, Councilmen Andujar, Ritz, Traficante, Council Vice-President Wall and Council President Marino -8.

IV. ADJOURNMENT

The meeting adjourned at 5:52 p.m.
