The regular meeting was called to order at 7:41pm with a roll call of members

President Kinch said, if there is no objection, we will vote on these by license type. If there is any concern or questions relating to a specific license, it can be removed from the list prior to taking a vote. All licenses are granted pending payment of outstanding taxes, fire department approval and certificate of good standing, when applicable.

 

Public hearing opened at 7:45pm.

 

President Kinch asked to take Nellie’s Lounge out of order for discussion. As with their liquor license, that license was granted but has not yet been issued. We would like to renew the license at this time, subject to the issuance of the license prior to it expiring November 30, 2021. He asked for a motion.

2.  R-21-68 – A resolution amending the Cumberland Traffic Calming Policy and Procedure (Presented by Councilor Magill; tabled from October 20, 2021)

 

Councilor Magill stated that the goal of this resolution was to create a more streamlined process for anyone who had a complaint about traffic in their neighborhood, and reduce the policy from fourteen steps to ten.

A brief discussion was held regarding a meeting held with the production company to discuss conditions concerning traffic, school safety, insurance, building renovations, etc. It was anticipated that there would be seven days of shooting.
