MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CUMBERLAND TOWN COUNCIL

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2023, at 7:30 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:30pm with a roll call of members.   

 

MEMBERS PRESENT:

In person: President Kinch, Councilors Bradley, Magill, and Schmitt.

 

Also present – School Superintendent Phil Thornton, B.F. Norton Principal Sandra Lariviere and Assistant Principal Christine Homen; Architect Luis Torrado; Colliers Engineering project manager Holly Demers; School Committee Chair Karen Freedman and members Denis Collins and Amy Vogel.

 

The Town Council members, attendees from the School Department, School Committee, architect Luis Torrado and engineering manager Holly Demers toured the in-progress construction of the new addition at BF Norton.

 

MOTION BY COUNCILOR SHAW, SECONDED BY COUNCILOR MAGILL, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO ADJOURN AT 8:30PM. VOTE4/0
