CALL TO ORDER

Council President Kinch called the special meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.

 

PRESENT: Council President Kinch, Councilors Bradley, Beaulieu, Magill, Metivier, Sweet, and Shaw Jr.

 

Also present were Mayor Jeffrey J. Mutter; Kelley Morris Salvatore, Town Solicitor; and Sandra Giovanelli, Town Clerk

 

MOTION BY COUNCILOR MAGILL, SECONDED BY COUNCILOR SWEET TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION.  VOTE 7/0.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

 

VOTE BY OPEN CALL TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS ITEMS OF BUSINESS CITED IN R.I.G.L. §42-46-5 (a) (1-9)

 

·         Sessions pertaining to collective bargaining and potential litigation.   §42-46-5(a)(2)

 

(1)   Solicitor’s Quarterly Litigation Update.

(2)   Session regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Town of Cumberland’s Public Safety Dispatchers, International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 2725

(3)   Potential litigation regarding Raymond Burt/15 Standring Street

 

MOTION BY COUNCILOR SHAW, SECONDED BY COUNCILOR MAGILL TO SEAL THE MINUTES.  VOTE 7/0.

MOTION BY COUNCILOR SHAW, SECONDED BY COUNCILOR MAGILL AND IT IS VOTED TO ADJOURN AT 7:10 P.M.  VOTE 7/0.
