MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF
THE CUMBERLAND BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
JOSEPH L. McCOURT MIDDLE SCHOOL, 45 HIGHLAND AVE., CUMBERLAND
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021 AT 7:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 7:32p.m. by Chairman Metivier
Present in person: Chairman Metivier, Commissioners Kinch, Magill, Beaulieu, Schmitt and Shaw
Present via Zoom: Commissioner Bradley

A. Acceptance of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 19, 2021
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMITT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE BY A ROLL CALL. VOTE 7/0.
A. CLASS F 1 LICENSE (ONE DAY BEER AND WINE LICENSE)
1. An application for a Class F one day beer and wine license from the Cumberland Beagle Club located at 425 Nate Whipple Highway for Laylas’s Dream Fundraiser/bike run, on June 26, 2021 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. 
Chairman Metivier stated that this application was pending final tent inspection, if applicable.
Fred Lemire, 2970 Mendon Road, was present to describe the event and answer any questions.
Public hearing opened at 7:37pm.
Chairman Metivier asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or against. There was no one.
Public hearing closed at 7:37pm.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMITT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE, BY A ROLL CALL. VOTE 7/0.
2. An application for a Class F one day beer and wine license from Cumberland Youth Activities Council for Cumberland Fest being held at Diamond Hill Park from August 6, 2021 to August 8, 2021 
Jerry Schimmel, 158 Bear Hill Road and Executive Director of Cumberland Fest was present to speak to the application and answer any questions about this event.
Chairman Metivier noted that Mr. Schimmel was meeting with the police the next day, June 3, 2021.
Public hearing opened at 7:42pm.
Chairman Metivier asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or against. There was no one.
Public hearing closed at 7:42pm.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMITT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER BEAULIEU, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE PENDING INSURANCE CERTIFICATE, POLICE APPROVAL AND FINAL INSPECTION OF TENT AND LIQUOR DISPENSING AREA, BY A ROLL CALL.
VOTE 7/0.

There were none.

MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMITT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO ADJOURN AT 7:43P.M. BY A ROLL CALL. VOTE 7/0.
