B. NEW BUSINESS
1. An application for a Class F License from Blackstone River Theatre located at 549 Broad Street for their annual after festival music session to be at the theatre on June 17, 2023 (rain date June 18, 2023)
Russell Gusetti - Good evening, Mayor, Kelly, Town Council, and Sandra. I am Russell Gusetti the executive director at Blackstone River Theater down 549 Broad Street. This is indeed an annual event which happens after our festival, which is held at Diamond Hill Park. Every year, this event happens back at Blackstone River Theater. It is a three-hour time length, from 830pm to 1130pm, and it's a limited ticket event. I sell 90 tickets and we put aside 45. All the performers at the festival come and play music, acoustic music, over the course of the evening. Some of our lead volunteers are there so there's a maximum of 135 people in the room. It is a ticketed event, $25. And as part of that, they get food from Angela's Palace Pizza, so there's always a lot of food there and there is a cash bar, which is just the beer and wine done by a TIPS trained bartender. It’s a very low-key event. They all know, and I enforce can't drink outside of the main hall. Everything takes place in the main hall except for the serving, which is in the lower lobby. Nothing goes outside.
Chairman Metivier: You've been doing the same thing for twelve years.
Mr. Gusetti – Yeah, this will be the 12th, 13th one that we've been doing.
Chairman Metivier – Is there anyone on zoom who wishes to speak. Hearing none are there are any questions or comments from the commissioners? If not, I'll take a motion pending Fire, EMS, and the Building Official approval.
