MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CUMBERLAND BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, MAY 17, 2023 AT 7:30P.M.

CALL TO ORDER 
The meeting was called to order at 7:41p.m. by Chairman Metivier
Present: Commissioners Kinch, Bradley, Shaw, Magill, Schmitt and Beaulieu
ACCEPTANCE OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
A. Acceptance of Minutes of the regular meeting of May 3, 2023.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER BEAULIEU, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE. VOTE 7/0.
NEW BUSINESS
A. TEMPORARY OUTDOOR SERVING LICENSE
1. An application for a Temporary Outdoor Serving license from Club Juventude Lusitana located at 10 Chase Street, for their St. John’s Annual Feast to be held June 23 and 24, 2023.
Chairman Metivier noted that we have the approval from the police department, but it's pending fire, EMS, Building Official, and final tent inspection.
Mr. Luis DaSilva, 63 Silo Drive, spoke to the application and event and added, “I just want to invite the community, Cumberland and everybody else to join us on these festivities. I understand it's a Portuguese community, but there's good food, there's good music, there's a lot of fun. So I invite everybody that could attend, and I'm pretty sure that everybody's going to have fun and enjoy it.”
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MAGILL, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE. VOTE 7/0.
