AGENDA OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CUMBERLAND BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2024 AT 7:30P.M.
CUMBERLAND TOWN HALL, EVERETT “MOE” BONNER, JR. COUNCIL CHAMBERS
45 BROAD STREET, CUMBERLAND, RHODE ISLAND
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Members Present: Chairman Metivier, Commissioners Kinch, Bradley, Magill, Shaw, Schmitt and Beaulieu.

A. Acceptance of Minutes of the special meeting of August 21, 2024.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SHAW, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE. VOTE 7/0

A. CLASS F1 ONE-DAY LIQUOR LICENSE
1. An application for a Class F 1 License from Phantom Farms II LLC for a private event on December 15, 2024 from 5 pm to 8 pm
Public Hearing Opened at 7:30 p.m.
There was no one from the public wishing to address the Commission.
Public Hearing Closed at 7:31 p.m.
Vice-Chairman Magill questioned if there is a rain date scheduled for the event.
Chairman Metivier explained that the event will be held inside and there is no rain date.
Commissioner Bradley asked the Solicitor to explain the difference between the one-day event and the State of Rhode Island licenses.
Solicitor Salvatore explained that caterer licenses are issued through the State of Rhode Island and class F1 are limited to twelve per year and explained that there are differences regarding the rules and regulations with regards to alcohol.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SHAW AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE THE. VOTE 7/0
B. CLASS F ONE-DAY LIQUOR LICENSE
1. An application for Class F License from Phantom Farms II LLC for Phantom Farms Fall Weekends every Saturday and Sunday from October 5th through November 3rd.
Public Hearing opened at 7:33 p.m.
Jason Macari, 4100 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland spoke about the event explaining that there will be a tent and three different beers on tap at the farm. The event will have hayrides and face painting for the kids and the adults can have a beer.
Public Hearing Closed at 7:35 p.m.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MAGILL AND IT IS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE. VOTE 7/0
