CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Shaw calls the meeting to order at 7:30 pm

 

Members Present: Chairman Shaw, Jr., Commissioners Kinch, Bradley, Magill, Beaulieu, and Sweet

 

Members Absent: Commissioner Metivier

 

ACCEPTANCE OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

A.  Acceptance of Minutes of the special meeting of February 19, 2025.

 

MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MAGILL, AND IT UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE.  VOTE 6/0. 

 

3.   CLASS B NON-TRANSFERABLE LICENSE PUBLIC HEARING

A.   An application for a Class B Non-Transferable license from Ocean State Brewing Company d/b/a Phantom Farms Brewing, 30 Martin Street.

 

The public hearing was opened at 7:31 pm.

 

The public hearing was closed at 7:32 pm.

 

MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MAGILL AND BEAULIEU, AND IT UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE SUBJECT TO INSURANCE CERTIFICATE, SERVSAFE LICENSE AND DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.  VOTE 6/0. 

 

 

4.   NEW BUSINESS

A.  CLASS F-1 ONE-DAY FULL LIQUOR LICENSE

1.   An application for multiple one-day Class F-1 Liquor License from Good Vibes Beverage LLC for the Diamond Hill Food Truck and Concert Nights and the Cumberland Community Celebration for the following dates: April 24, May 22, June 26, July 17, August 9, and August 28, 2025, with possible rain dates of July 31, and September 20, 2025.

 

Eric Weiner stated that he is looking forward to being back at Diamond Hill Park and working with the Town for this super fun series.  We are really excited that we're just pivoting from using Trinity Brewhouse, who has been on the market for sale and has been a partner for a long time.  We look forward to continuing the perfect level of service and events that we've had for the last number of years and appreciate the support from everyone on the Council, the Commission, and Parks and Rec in the Town.  It’s a special event and taking the opportunity to let you know that is great to do.

 

MOTION BY COMMISSIONER KINCH, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SWEET, AND IT UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE.  VOTE  6/0. 

 

B.  CLASS B NON-TRANSFERABLE LICENSE – PRESENTATION & PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE

1.      An application for a Class B Non-Transferable license from El Rodeo Family Mexican Restaurant LLC d/b/a El Rodeo, 405 Mendon Road.

 

2.      An application for a Class B Non-Transferable license from Clover Acres LLC d/b/a Everybody’s Favorite Family Restaurant, 1368 Mendon Road.
