EXETER TOWN COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING

 

MAY 2, 2022

 

No.    1             CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: The Special Meeting of the  Town Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022, and held in person in Town Council Chambers, Exeter Town Clerk’s Office 675 Ten Rod Road, Exeter, Rhode Island.

No.    2             SWEARING-IN CEREMONY: MANUEL ANDREWS, NEW COUNCIL MEMBER TO SIT DUE TO THE UNTIMELY PASSING OF FRANCIS T. MAHER, JR.:

  

Mr. Andrews  took the oath of Office, as administered by Patricia L. Whitford, Deputy Town Clerk/Notary Public. Mr. Andrews will now sit as a member of the Town Council to fill the

unexpired term of Francis T. Maher.  Mr. Andrews received a round of applause and congratulations.

 

No.    3             COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REWRITE:        PHOTO SHOOT:  TOWN COUNCIL AND PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS:

 

Town Planner William DePasquale took a photo of the Town Council members joined with the

Planning Board members  for  the rewrite of the Comprehensive Plan.  

 

No.    4             ADJOURNMENT:

 

Motion made by Calvin Ellis to adjourn the Town Council Special Meeting at 6:40 p.m.

Seconded by Michael Lefebvre Voted unanimously in the  affirmative.
