No. 2: CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:

The Special Meeting of the Exeter Town Council was called to order at 6:34 p.m., on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Council Chambers, Exeter Clerk’s Office, 675 Ten Rod Road, Exeter, Rhode Island.

No. 3: EXECUTIVE SESSION:

MOTION made by Mr. Patterson to enter into Executive Session under RIGL 42-46-5(a)(2), to discuss Potential Litigation, Ongoing Trespassing and Nuissance on Town Property, Uncertified Portion of Estate Drive; seconded by Mr. Morrissey; and

voted unanimously in the affirmative.

Council left Council table and convened in the Clerk’s Office Vault.

Council entered into Executive Session at 6:34 p.m., adjourned Executive Session

at 6:38 p.m., and reassembled in Open Session.

MOTION made by Mr. Morrissey to seal the minutes of Executive Session; seconded by Mr. Ellis; and voted unanimously in the affirmative.

No. 4 FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET: PREPARATION:

Town Treasurer, Maria Lawler, presented re-draft of the proposed budget based on changes made at the last meeting.

Discussion ensued. Line items were reviewed and changes made. Ms. Lawler will incorporate the changes for the next budget meeting on April 28, 2025.

No. 5 ADJOURNMENT:

MOTION made by Mr. Ellis to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Mr. Patterson;

and voted unanimously in the affirmative.

The Special Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
