SPECIAL MEETING

JUNE 9, 2026

 

 

No.   1:   CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: 

The Special Meeting of the Exeter Town Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the Joseph Walsh Performing Arts Center Auditorium, Exeter-West Greenwich Junior/Senior High School, 930 Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Also Present:                          Kenneth Sylvia, Esq., Town Solicitor

Lynn Hawkins, Town Clerk

                                                Maria Lawler, Town Treasurer

                                                Kenneth Findlay, Council Assistant

 

No.   2:   PARTICIPATION: 2026 FINANCIAL TOWN MEETING:

 

Town Moderator Peter Lacouture commenced the meeting.  Town Clerk Lynn Hawkins

read the Warrant into the record.  Mr. Lacouture proceeded with addressing the resolutions.  Discussion ensued.  Council participated in the discussions.  (For copies of the budget and resolutions and in order to obtain or review the complete, stenographic transcript of the proceedings, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office.)

 

No.   3:   ADJOURNMENT:

 

The Special Meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m.
