The Johnston Town Council held a special meeting on September 11th, 2023 at the Johnston Municipal Court, 1600 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919
Council President Russo called the meeting to order at 6:37 pm
Council President Russo, Councilwoman Folcarelli and Councilman Carnevale were present
Councilman Civetti and Councilwoman Garzone were absent
Also present were: Mayor Joseph M. Polisena, Jr., Dylan Conley, Esq., Vincent P. Baccari, Jr., and Donna Dumont, stenographer
Council shall seek to enter into Executive Session Pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws of 1956, as amended pursuant to § 42-46-5 (a) (2) for discussion /action on:
· Collective Bargaining Negotiations between the Town of Johnston and The Rhode Island Council 94, AFSCME, AFL-CIO on behalf of the Johnston Town Employees Local Union 1491
Councilman Carnevale made a motion to enter into executive session pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws §42-46-5 (a) (2) for action/discussion on collective bargaining negotiations between the Town of Johnston and The Rhode Island Council 94, AFSCME, AFL-CIO on behalf of the Johnston Town Employees Local Union 1491
The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Folcarelli
