JOHNSTON ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW

MEETING MINUTES

Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at 6:30 PM

Johnston Senior Center, 1291 Hartford Avenue

 

 

I.    Roll Call

       Present for the meeting was THOMAS LOPARDO-CHAIRPERSON, ANTHONY PILOZZI,   

JOSEPH ANZELONE, CHARLES AINABE AND RICHARD FASCIA-MEMBERS, DENNIS CARDILLO AND ALBERT COLANNINO-ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBERS.  Also present

       EDWARD CIVITO, C.B.O.-BUILDING/ZONING OFFICIAL, AND JOSEPH BALLIRANO,     

       ESQ-LEGAL COUNSEL & DEB PAVONE-RECORDING SECRETARY.

 

II.   Minutes from Previous Meetings

 

Approval of December 28^th, 2023

 

Motion to approve minutes by Anthony Pilozzi.  Seconded by Joseph Anzelone.  All voted in favor.

 

III.  Old Business:

  None

 

IV.  New Business:

       

Petition of John and Lori Pezzullo:  Owner/Applicant of 175 Downing Drive AP 9 Lot 514, Zoned R-15.  Applicant is seeking dimensional variance to add to barn dwelling adjacent to the pool area for use as storage in the winter and a cabana in the summer.

 

Motion to approve by Anthony Pilozzi.  Seconded by Joseph Anzelone.  All voted in favor.

 

Petition of Giana and Michael Camera:  Owner/applicant of 6 Elwin Avenue.  AP 57 Lot 139. Zoned R-40.  Applicant is seeking dimensional variance to expand the existing dwelling to the southwest side of the house and the northeast side of the garage; connecting the two structures in between.  Applicant is also seeking dimensional variance to add a second floor onto the existing house structure. 

Motion to approve by Anthony Pilozzi.  Seconded by Joseph Anzelone.  All voted in favor.

 

V.   Adjournment

 

       6:46 P.M.  Motion to adjourn by Richard Fascia.  Seconded by Joseph Anzelone.  All voted in favor.
