Johnston Zoning Board of Review held its regular meeting on October 24,2024 at 6:34 pm, at Johnston Senior Center, 1291 Hartford Avenue
I. Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance THOMAS LOPARDO, CHAIRPERSON ANTHONY PILOZZI, VICE-CHAIRPERSON RICHARD B. FASCIA ALBERT COLANNINO, ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBER CHARLES AINABE ALSO PRESENT: JOSEPH BALLIRANO, ESQUIRE, LEGAL COUNSEL TO THE ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW EDWARD CIVITO, BUILDING/ZONING OFFICIAL DEB PAVONE, RECORDING SECRETARY
II. Minutes from Previous Meetings: Accept minutes: Mr. Pilozzi: Do I have a second it. Mr. Anzelone: Second. All in favor.
III. Old Business: None
IV. New Business: Petition of Derek and Shelby Sousa Owner/Applicant for 448 George Waterman Rd. Ap38 lot 52, Zoned R15. Applicant is Petition; Special Use Permit. Existing 2 family dwelling plus hair salon and 1 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor. Pictures submitted, no motion to accept. Mr Pilozzi made a motion to grant application with the stipulation any expansion in the future would need to go back to the Board. Seconded by Mr. Fascia. Voice Vote; All in favor.
Petition of Joseph and Colleen Serydynski Owner/Applicant for 27 Reservoir Avenue, Ap43 Lot 527, Zoned R40. Applicants is Petition: use Dimensional Variance. Construct a metal garage.
Mr Pilozzi made the motion to grant with stipulations. No water or heat, cannot be used for residential purposes, And no Commercial storage. Seconded by Mr. Anzelone. Voice Vote; All in favor.
