Special Meeting – Site Visits

The Middletown Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, 3:00pm to conduct site visits to the properties that are the subject of the applications listed below. The board will meet at the subject properties at the times indicated. The purpose of the meeting is for Planning Board members to view the subject properties. The Board will not deliberate, will not accept public comment, and will take no action on the applications during this meeting.

1.    3:00pm – 499 East Main Rd., Middletown, RI - Application of Ralph Plumb for Development Plan Review, including request for waivers from certain design standards of the Middletown Rules and Regulations Regarding the Subdivision and Development of Land Section 521, for construction of a new commercial building, conversion of an existing building to a restaurant, and associated site work located on property identified as 499 East Main Rd., Assessor’s Plat 113, Lot 27

2.    3:30pm – 42 Wave Ave., Middletown, RI - Application of Atlantic Beach Suites II, LLC, for Development Plan Review, including request for waivers from certain design standards of the Middletown Rules and Regulations Regarding the Subdivision and Development of Land Section 521, for construction of a 23-room hotel to be located at 42-44 & 56 Wave Ave., Plat 116NW, Lots 4,5 & 6..
