Special Meeting – Site Visit

The Board conducted a site visit to the property that is the subject of the application listed below. The purpose of the meeting is for Planning Board members to view the subject property.

1.    3:00pm – Request of St. George’s School for Development Plan Review and request for waivers from certain provisions of Section 521 of the Middletown Rules and Regulations Regarding the Subdivision and Development of Land for construction of a wellness center addition to the existing fieldhouse building on property located at 372 Purgatory Road, Tax Assessors Plat 121SW Lots 39.

·         Mr. Croce opened the meeting and reminded board members that there should be no deliberations. The purpose of the meeting is to view the property and to ask questions of the applicant for clarification purposes. There will be no public input.

·         The applicant was represented by St. Georges School Athletic Director, Bob Pipe, project engineer Jon Stabach, and architect Daniela Voith.

·         Mr. Stabach reviewed the site plan, focusing on proposed site work and stormwater management. Ms. Voith reviewed the proposed building design, including the proposed floor plan for the addition and the exterior building elevations.

·         Board members asked questions regarding the extent of site work, building design, stormwater management system design and waiver requests, which the applicant’s representatives addressed.

Meeting adjourned at approximately 3:25pm
