·         A MOTION TO SCHEDULE a public hearing on an ordinance in amendment of Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, Rhode Island, entitled “Zoning”, specifically text revisions at Section 2.2 (Definitions) and a new Section 7.21 (Student Occupied Dwellings).   1. A MOTION TO APPROVE the waiver of interest for taxpayers in accordance with Ordinance 2010-936.
  2. A MOTION TO APPROVE the conversion of documents to PDF for the Tax Assessor, to be completed by Merritt Scanning, in the total amount of $3,500.00, utilizing the State of Connecticut contract. 
  1. A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for the Purchase of Replacement Sign for Kinney Bungalow/Sunset Farm to the sole bidder, Signarama North Kingstown, in the amount of $3,675.00.
  2. A MOTION TO APPROVE, RATIFY, AND CONFIRM the purchase of hot patch from Lynch Corporation, in the amount of $5,992.56.
  3. A MOTION TO APPROVE the purchase and installation services of one (1) Getac V110 Rugged Tablet for the Fire Department’s new rescue from Island Tech Services, LLC, in the total amount of $6,441.00.
  4. A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual subscription renewal for Records Management Software from Station Smarts LLC, in the amount of $9,975.00 utilizing the State of Massachusetts contract.
  5. A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual service fees for the Elite Field Support and CAD Interface for EMS Patient Care Reporting Software from ImageTrend, Inc. in the amount of $4,150.24.

BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT

12.  A MOTION TO APPROVE the contractual agreement between the Town of Narragansett and Anthony D. Wojcik to perform electrical inspections for the Building Official’s Office from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. APPROVED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 5-0)

13.  A MOTION TO APPROVE the contractual agreement between the Town of Narragansett and James Harris to perform plumbing and mechanical inspections for the Building Official’s Office from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. APPROVED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 5-0)

FIRE DEPARTMENT

14.  A MOTION TO APPROVE the renewal of the prorated two-year service agreement for five (5) LifePak15 defibrillators, one (1) Lucas chest compression system, one (1) Stryker power cot and three (3) Stryker stair chairs from Stryker Medical Inc., in the total amount of $11,276.38, payable in annual installments of $5,638.19 and to authorize the Town Manager to sign the contract after review by the Town Solicitor. 18.  A MOTION TO APPROVE the purchase of Cold Patch and Hot Patch, based on the State of Rhode Island Master Price Agreement for Asphalt; Cold Patch, Hot Patch, Berm Mix and Winter Mix: Cold Patch (delivered) at $130.00/ton from D’Ambra Construction Co., Inc. and Hot Patch (picked-up) at $74.00/ton from J.H. 19.  A MOTION TO WAIVE the current policy and AUTHORIZE the use of the Miscellaneous Repair and Construction Services Contract with George Sherman Sand & Gravel, Inc. to complete drainage improvements on Crosswynds Drive, in the amount of $90,000.00. 29.  A MOTION TO ADOPT the resolution authorizing the Town to establish a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program and to AUTHORIZE the Town Manager to develop a plan to aggregate the retail electric loads within the Town through a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program in accordance with RIGL §39-3-1.2. Further, that the Town Council DIRECT the Town Manager and appropriate Town departments to provide regular updates to the full Town Council regarding the development and implementation of the aggregation plan and CCA program.
