· A MOTION TO SCHEDULE a public hearing on a petition from Charles and Helen Donaldson and John and Alice Riordan for the abandonment of a portion of Meadow Lane.
Ø A MOTION TO REFER the petition for abandonment (portion of Meadow Lane) to the Planning Board for review and recommendation.
· A MOTION TO SCHEDULE a public hearing on an application for the transfer of a Class B-Victualler Alcohol Beverage License from NRI Ventures LLC, dba RI Social to Ralph Jagschitz, dba The Tavern at Assessor’s Plat P, Lot 289-5, 140 Point Judith Road, Suite A-5, Narragansett, RI.
· A MOTION TO OPEN and HOLD a public hearing on the application of Pelly’s Properties LLC dba Pelly’s Place for the permanent expansion of the indoor service area of their Class B-Victualler Alcoholic Beverage License at Assessor’s Plat N-H, Lot 171, 909 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett, RI.

All items listed on the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine or have been previously reviewed by the Town Council, and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the General Order of Business, and considered in its normal sequence on the Agenda.
1. A MOTION TO APPROVE a Class F Alcoholic Beverage License for the South County Museum for its music event to be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at its location at 115 Strathmore Street, Narragansett, subject to state and local regulations.
2. A MOTION TO APPROVE the waiver of interest for taxpayers in accordance with Ordinance 2010-936.
3. A MOTION TO APPROVE the purchase of Materials for Hanging Baskets in Galilee from Clark Farms, Inc., in the amount of $2,976.00.
4. A MOTION TO APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Narragansett Parks and Recreation Department to partner with the Narrow River Preservation Association and the Narrow River Land Trust in offering the educational program “What Lives in the River?” at the Middlebridge property on June 11, 2022, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, subject to state and local regulations.
5. A MOTION TO REMOVE one individual and APPOINT one individual to the Galilee Advisory Committee.
6. A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for the Rental of Tents for Canonchet/North Beach Clubhouse and Kinney Bungalow to the sole bidder, Pranzi Tents and Events at their quoted bid prices for a two (2) -year period, ending May 29, 2024.
7. A MOTION TO APPROVE AND ADOPT the proposed Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program plan in accordance with RIGL §39-3-1.2., and AUTHORIZE submittal to the Public Utilities Commission for approval.
8. A MOTION TO READ, PASS, and ADOPT as a second reading the Appropriation Ordinance for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year.
9. A MOTION TO ADOPT a resolution establishing the Administrative Compensation Schedule for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
10. A MOTION TO ADOPT the resolution establishing the proposed wages for seasonal, part-time, and temporary employees for Fiscal Year 2022-23.
11. A MOTION TO APPROVE the updated job description for the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works.
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
12. A MOTION TO APPOINT Daren McConnell as the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works and APPROVE filling any subsequent vacancies created by this promotion.
13. A MOTION TO APPROVE the replacement and repairs of the existing 12” storm drain on South Hill View Drive, to be completed by George Sherman Sand & Gravel Co., Inc. utilizing the Miscellaneous Repair & Construction Services Contract in the amount of $36,500.00.
BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT
14. A MOTION TO APPROVE the contractual agreement between the Town of Narragansett and Anthony D. Wojcik to perform electrical inspections for the Building Official’s Office from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
15. A MOTION TO APPROVE the contractual agreement between the Town of Narragansett and James Harris to perform plumbing and mechanical inspections for the Building Official’s Office from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
16. A MOTION TO APPROVE the contractual agreement between the Town of Narragansett and Russell DesGranges to perform plumbing and mechanical inspections for the Building Official’s Office from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
17. A MOTION TO ADOPT a Resolution to support the Bike Mobility Plan.
18. A MOTION TO CANCEL the Town Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 5th, 2022.
19. A MOTION TO APPOINT/REAPPOINT two individuals to the Coastal Access Improvement Committee.
20. A MOTION TO APPOINT/REAPPOINT two individuals to the Narragansett Housing Authority.
21. A MOTION TO REAPPOINT one Conservation Commission/Tree Board Representative to the Land Conservancy Trust.
22. A MOTION TO APPOINT one individual to the Library Board of Trustees.
