· A MOTION TO SCHEDULE a Public Hearing, acting as the Urban Renewal Board of Review, on a request from Narragansett Casino LLC dba Narragansett Casino to amend the previously approved site use/plan at 11 Pier Market Place as follows: 1) to keep one theater of the existing theater; 2) to convert the second theater room into an event/banquet room to be used for multifunction events and serve alcohol; 3) to convert the third theater room into an arcade game space; 4) to add in the lobby a bar with wine and beer service and hi top seating for board games and watching TV; and 5) second floor will remain as an event/banquet space with the anticipation future use of converting it to a sports bar. 1. A MOTION TO APPROVE the waiver of interest for taxpayers in accordance with Ordinance 2010-936.
2. A MOTION TO APPROVE the contract extension for General Electrical Services with two (2) vendors: Effluent Electric & Controls, LLC, and E.W. Audet & Sons, Inc. for a one-year period at their hourly rates for regular and emergency services and at their percentage mark-ups for parts, materials, and equipment, under the same terms and conditions as the original contract.
3. A MOTION TO APPROVE, RATIFY, AND CONFIRM the Firefighter Safety and Survival training costs funded by a reimbursable grant for the Fire Department. The completed training was sponsored by instructors with the Rhode Island Fire Academy, in the amount of $9,227.69.
4. A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual preventative maintenance contract for the Fire Department’s Plymovent Source Capture Emergency Vehicle Exhaust Fuel Removal System with Air Cleaning Specialists of New England, LLC in the amount of $3,000.00 and AUTHORIZE the Town Manager to sign the contract after review by the Town Solicitor.
5. A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual subscription renewal for Records Management Software for the Fire Department from Station Smarts LLC, in the amount of $9,975.00, utilizing the State of Massachusetts contract.
6. A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for the Purchase of Rescue Swimmer Equipment to the lowest qualified bidder, Landfall Water Rescue at their quoted prices, in the total amount of $9,781.45.
7. A MOTION TO APPROVE the cost of fingerprints processed through the Department of Attorney General (State of Rhode Island), in the amount of $35.00 each for Fiscal Year 2022/2023.
8. A MOTION TO APPROVE the purchase of one (1) replacement four-inch compound water service meter for the Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility from Stiles Company in the amount of $4,661.30.
9. A MOTION TO APPROVE Change Order #1 for the price increase on the Purchase of a Towmaster Equipment Trailer for Public Works, from Bobcat of Rhode Island, in the amount of $7,903.00.
10. A MOTION TO GRANT permission to Morelane E. Lord and David A. Zoglio of Coastal Modular Homes of RI to transport a modular home through Narragansett to 17 Sewell Road, Plat K, Lot 12-B, on or around July 18, 2022, subject to local and state regulations.
11. A MOTION TO APPROVE the annual service contract for the Interoperable Radio Communications System from Motorola, Inc., in the amount of $38,201.73 for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022/2023 and to AUTHORIZE the Town Manager to sign the contract after review by the Town Solicitor. 12. A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for ADS Pipe for the Public Works Department to the most qualified bidder based on projected usage, Warwick Winwater Company at their quoted bid prices for a one-year period, ending June 20, 2023. AWARDED (Cicilline Buonanno/ Dzwierzynski 5-0)

14. A MOTION TO AUTHORIZE the Town Manager to sign a successor agreement with the University of Rhode Island relative to the lease of flow space at the Regional Wastewater Treatment Facilities and AUTHORIZE the Town Manager and Town Engineer to continue negotiations relative to the acquisition of additional flow space. 15. A MOTION TO APPROVE a 1-year agreement with Saint Elizabeth Adult Day Center, 283 Post Road, South Kingstown, RI 02879 to provide Adult Day Services to residents of the town of Narragansett and AUTHORIZE the Town Manager to sign the agreement and provide funding in the amount of $26,530.00. 16. A MOTION TO APPROVE the Boston Chapter of BMW CCA Rhode Island Group’s request for a Show & Shine Car Show at Veterans Memorial Park on Sunday, August 7, subject to state and local laws. APPROVED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 5-0)
17. A MOTION TO AWARD the bid for the Clarke Road Basketball Court Rehabilitation Project to the sole bidder, Joyce Construction, Inc. in the amount of $31,376.00. AWARDED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 5-0)

A MOTION TO APPROVE, RATIFY AND CONFIRM Change Order #1 for the purchase and installation of an additional 170 linear feet of 8’ Black Vinyl Chain Link Fence for Sprague Park from Cosco Inc., in the amount of $14,110.00, utilizing the State of RI Master Price Agreement. 20. A MOTION TO CONSIDER AND APPROVE the selection of projects, as presented during the FY 2021-2022 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) work session and budget work sessions, to be funded with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. AMEND MOTION TO APPROVE THE TOWN MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATIONS (Dzwierzynski/ Cicilline Buonanno 4 in favor; Murray opposed)
21. A MOTION TO APPROVE the ballot question, “Shall new cannabis related licenses for businesses involved in the cultivation, manufacture, laboratory testing and for the retail sale of adult recreational use cannabis be issued in the Town of Narragansett?” be placed on the ballot for the November 8, 2022 election and AUTHORIZE the Board of Canvassers to submit the question to the Secretary of State.
