27.  A MOTION TO READ, PASS AND ADOPT as a second reading an amendment of Chapter 2, Article III, Division 8 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett entitled “Affordable Housing Trust”. READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 5-0) 

 

28.  A MOTION TO DIRECT the Town Manager to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a study that will analyze the housing stock in the Town of Narragansett, the scope of the analysis should include, but not limited to, the content of the letter drafted to the Narragansett Town Council by the “Affordable Housing Collaborative Committee”. The cost of such proposal shall be limited to a maximum of $ 25,000.00 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. DIRECTED (Cicilline Buonanno/Dzwierzynski 4-1; Murray opposed)

 

29.  A MOTION TO DIRECT the Town Manager to work with the Town Solicitor to begin foreclosure proceedings on the vacant land properties included in the attached list, all of which are five or more years delinquent on real estate taxes.
