Call to Order

After presentations by the Applicant, members of the Public will be allowed 2 opportunities to speak on agenda items.  The Chair will ask if anyone from the Public has questions of the Applicant to understand the project.  After questions are closed, the Chair will ask if anyone from the Public has comments.  Members of the Public will have up to 3 minutes per person to comment.  Comments should be limited to the exterior design of the building and site.  Comments will not be allowed as to the interior design or use of the project, etc.  Thank you for participating.

 

Modification to Final Approval:

 

1.      Calvez LLC.   Plat 6, Lot 119.  Fire# 62.  Dodge Street.  Application by Darius Inn for material change from previously approved windows in the gable ends

 

2.      Tuschick, Elizabeth Simkin Trustee.  Plat 5, Lot 14.  Fire# 445. Ocean Avenue. Application to enlarge existing one-story one bay garage to a 2 story garage with two bays and a second floor apartment.

 

Other Business:

 

Discuss training of Historic District Commission (HDC) members that is now required by Rhode Island law

·         Each HDC member is required to complete a 3-hour training program one time within two years of June 22, 2022, or within one year of a new appointment.

·         Each HDC member is required to complete a 1-hour annual update each year.

 

Approve minutes: Approve August 28, 2023.
