New Shoreham Town Council Meeting

The New Shoreham Town Council met via telecommunication pursuant to

State of Rhode Island Executive Order 20-46 dated June 12, 2020.

Agenda

1.   Receive storm and mid season report from Harbormaster.

2.   Update on holiday weekend activity

3.   Update on police/state-police/rescue reports overall with a comparison to last year

4.   Discuss Emergency Medical Services, Medical Center, Fire Department and Police Department actions and feedback from the weekend

5.   Discuss and act on possible amendment to the “Emergency Ordinance II of the Town of New Shoreham Adopted May 27, 2020” pertaining to communal housing and other issues during the COVID-19 pandemic

6.   Discuss and act on possible amendment to the “Emergency Ordinance III of the Town of New Shoreham Adopted June 24, 2020 Masks” pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic

Two ways to comment:

1.   Send your comments and questions 12 hours before the meeting to townclerk@new-shoreham.com.  They will be printed out and distributed to the Town Council.  The Council will be able to take time to read them before the meeting.

2.   Register to speak by phone during the meeting by emailing the number of the phone you’ll be using, your name, and the organization (if any) you are representing to townclerk@new-shoreham.com  12 hours before the meeting.  Instructions will be emailed back.
