2. Set public hearing date for a comprehensive amendment throughout the New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance delineating the duties of the Zoning Official from the Building Official and additionally amending Article 6 – Administration, Section 602- Zoning Officer, Qualifications, Powers and Duties
3. Set public hearing date for an amendment to New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance, Section 513, Accessory Apartments
4. Discuss and act on update from the Sea Level Rise Committee
5. Discuss and act on request from Rustic Rides for the use of Town Roads
6. Discuss and act on recommendation from the Harbors Committee for the establishment of the following fees:
a. Riparian Mooring Annual Fee
b. First Year Base Fee for Charter and Commercial Permits
7. Discuss and act on Boy Scouts of America Narragansett Council’s request for a Special Temporary Permit to allow for the placement of portable restroom facilities at the Boy Scout Camp Sandsland
8. Update and discuss future tax planning
9. Discuss and request surveys/research studies to be conducted by staff concerning:
· Year-round and year-round affordable/attainable housing needs
· Private property owner research regarding year-round and year-round affordable/attainable housing development
10. Discuss and act on affordable housing items:
a. 513 Apartment subsidies
b. Development of Town owned lots
11. Discuss and act on recommendation from Town Manager regarding the awarding of contracts for: Brushcutting/Chipping; Cleaning Town Buildings; Cleaning Seasonal Buildings; Fuel Oil/Diesel; Mowing Island Cemetery; and Mowing Town Properties
12. Discuss and act on ranking of the priorities between the Harbors Facilities and Public Safety Facility as relates to Federal Appropriation Funding
13. Discuss and act on broadband project change orders:
a. Mission Broadband Change Order #4 – Work to be performed on Island Wide Broadband Network Project, Community Anchor Institution and consulting Reburial Project as pertains to broadband fiber – 500 hours @ $200 per hour
b. Sertex Change Order #7 – Cost associated with erosion control at DEM and CRMC permitted sites - $74,902.50 (DEM) & $56,115 (CRMC) = $131,017.50
14. Discuss and act on Board, Commission and Committees:
a. Deer Task Force resignation
b. Conservation Commission appointment
c. Sewer Commission appointments
d. Water Commission appointments
e. Announce vacancies
