1. Receive, discuss and act on update regarding negotiations with between RI Council 94 AFSCME, AFL-CIO Local 2855 New Shoreham Employee’s Association and Town of New Shoreham and New Shoreham School Committee. This item may be discussed in closed session pursuant to RI General Laws 42-46-5(a) (2) Sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, or work sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation
2. Receive, discuss and act on update regarding negotiations with between International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Local 720 (representing members of New Shoreham Police Department) and Town of New Shoreham. This item may be discussed in closed session pursuant to RI General Laws 42-46-5(a) (2) Sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, or work sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation
4. Discuss and act on requests from the New Shoreham Sewer Commission:
a. Add Plat 17, Lot 13 to the New Shoreham Sewer District
b. Request an increase up to $2,000,000.00 (two million dollars) to the current sewer bond authorization for the Cleaning CCTV & Lining of Gravity Sewers Project at the annual Town Financial Meeting on May 2, 2022
c. Consider the utilization of federal American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) funds to aid in slip lining the sewer collection system
d. Request 25% financial participation in the Cleaning CCTV & Lining of Gravity Sewers Project funding
5. Discuss and act on School Renovation Project
6. Discuss and act on committing easement proceeds ($52,000) received from National Grid for the purposes of Infrastructure Improvements
7. Discuss and act on adoption of Warrant for Financial Town Meeting, May 2, 2022
8. Receive and discuss update on Interstate Navigation meeting and next steps
9. Receive and act on Report of Town Manager (Public Works, Finance, School, Library, Recreation, Administration, Harbors, Broadband, Police, Roads, Cable)
10. Receive and act on Broadband Report
