2.   Tabled from 3/2/2022: Discuss and act on amended easement for National Grid cable project

 

3.   Act to authorize the hunting, possession and taking of deer within the boundaries of the Town of New Shoreham

 

4.   Discussion with Rhode Island Airport Corporation regarding implementation of unpaid managed parking at the Block Island State Airport

 

5.   Discuss and act on recommendation of the New Shoreham Sewer Commission to add Plat 10, Lot 72 to the New Shoreham Sewer District

 

6.   Discuss and act on Mobile Food Establishment (MFE) license - Block Island Gourmet:

a.   Authorize Agreement for Use of Town Property – Plat 4, Lot 68

b.   Renewal of MFE permit

 

7.   Meet with the Commission on Motor Vehicles for Hire to discuss the Point to Point taxi service

 

8.   Discuss and act on request from Jim Murray for Town sponsorship of Blues on the Beach for the following dates: July 6 & 20, August 3, 17 & 31

 

9.   Approval of Rhode Island Cyber Security Grant Program application

 

10. Discuss and act on resolutions regarding:

a.   Prohibiting the availability of Class C alcoholic beverage license

b.   Opposition to bill S2135 relating to Alcoholic Beverages – Retail Licenses – Happy Hour

c.   Opposition to bill H7198 relating to Binding Arbitration for Municipal Employees

d.   Initiate legislation to amend tax rate structure on Block Island

 

11. Discuss and review New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance, Section 513, Accessory Apartments

 

12. Discuss and act on Cultural Heritage contract re: South Fork, Sunrise and Revolution Wind Farms

 

13. Correspondence: Keith Lewis re: Indoor mask mandate; Sarah Bacon re: transportation safety

16. Discuss and act on acquisition of real estate – BIPCO property, Plat 17, Lot 35 where the premature disclosure would adversely affect the public interest. This item may be held in closed session pursuant to RIGL 42-46-5(a)(5): Any discussions or considerations related to the acquisition or lease of real property for public purposes, or of the disposition of publicly held property wherein advanced public information would be detrimental to the interest of the public; and RIGL 42-46-5(a)(7) A matter related to the question of the investment of public funds where the premature disclosure would adversely affect the public interest.

Receive Discuss and act on update regarding negotiations with between RI Council 94 AFSCME, AFL-CIO Local 2855 New Shoreham Employee’s Association and Town of New Shoreham and New Shoreham School Committee, This item may be discussed in closed session pursuant to RI General Laws 42-46-5(a) (2) Sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, or work sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation.
