1.   Review preliminary results of the housing survey produced by the Town Land Use Department

2.   Brainstorm, discuss and act on affordable/attainable housing options such as:

a.   Restructure and enforce Zoning ordinance 513

b.   Acquire property for affordable housing

c.   Use existing structures for affordable housing

d.   Ease restrictive zoning ordinances to allow for easier building and development of affordable housing

e.   Initiate private/public partnerships

f.    Consider the use of ground leasing for those who can afford to build, but cannot afford to purchase land

g.   Consider moving houses slated for demolition to Town land for housing

h.   Hold informational sessions with property owners to encourage development of housing

i.    Create an expedited board process and review for affordable housing applications

j.    Consider a building subsidy or rolling fund for 513 building incentive

k.   Funding sources:

i.    Update on meeting with Deputy Commerce Secretary for Housing

ii.   Other possible funding sources

iii.  Legislation to provide a tax on land transfers to benefit affordable housing
