2.   Act to set a public hearing date for amendments to New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance Article 2, Section 202 Definitions, Article 4, Section 405 Affordable Housing, Article 5, Section 513 Accessory Apartments

 

3.   Discuss and act on request of Dana Barron for a Special Temporary Permit pursuant to Zoning ordinance Section 112 to bring a van/camper to the island to be used as a construction office at 169 Old Town Road

 

4.   Review of financial reports

 

5.   Receive and act on Report of Town Manager (Public Works, Finance, School, School Construction Project, Library, Recreation, Administration, Harbors, Broadband, Police, Roads)

 

6.   Receive update on Broadband construction project

 

7.   Receive update on Aldo’s Bakery carousel re: Notice of Violation

 

8.   Act to adopt a resolution commending the water rescue off Black Rock of August 28, 2022.

 

9.   Discuss and act on the extension of the contracts for engineering services:

·         James J. Geremia & Associates, Inc.

·         GM2 Associates, Inc.

 

10. Announce schedule for the October 5, 2022 work session:

·         Community budget priorities

·         Summer wrap-up discussions

 

11. Discuss and act on Board, Commission and Committees:

a.   Appoint member to Planning Board

b.   Appoint member to Recreation Board

c.   Increase the size to eight members and appoint ex-officio members to School Building Committee

d.   Announce vacancies:

i.    Deer Task Force (3)

ii.   Motor Vehicles for Hire (1)

iii.  Police Advisory Commission (1)

iv.  School Building Committee (3)

 

12. Receive update on current tenant maintaining occupancy at Coast Guard Station

 

13. Approve minutes: September 6, 2022 open and closed; September 7, 2022

 

14. Discuss and act on Finnimore & Fisher Inc. d/b/a Island Moped v. Town of New Shoreham, through its Town Council et al. (WC-2022-0021) and Finnimore & Fisher Inc. d/b/a Island Moped et al. v. Town of New Shoreham, through its Town Council et al. (SU-2021-0272-A) This item may be held in closed session pursuant to RIGL 42-46-5 (a)(2) for sessions pertaining to litigation
