3.   Continued Public Hearing: Discuss and act on proposed Amendment to Town of New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance Section 518 Accessory Family Dwelling Units

 

4.   Set public hearing date for proposed amendment to New Shoreham Zoning ordinance re: Application to Amend the Zoning Ordinance of Christopher Warfel for proposed new section to Article 5, Section 519 Affordable Housing

 

5.   Act to authorize the hunting, possession and taking of deer within the boundaries of the Town of New Shoreham

8.   Discuss and act on requests of Austin Morin of Queer Block Island:

a.   Resolution calling for the designation of an official annual LGBTQ Pride holiday in the State of Rhode Island and change the name of Victory Day (referred to Victory of Japan Day in resolution) to Ocean State Day

b.   Resolution to approve the installation of four permeant rainbow crosswalks on Weldon’s Way

 

9.   Discuss and act on requests of Motor Vehicles for Hire Commission:

a.   Increase of the taxi rates: bike fee, tour rate, base rate from Town to Bluffs/SE Light, adding a zone on Champlin Road, lowering the minimum fare age

b.   Continue the $1.00 fuel charge

 

10. Request of Gary Pollard to waive the advertising fee associated with his application to Amend the Zoning Ordinance re: Game Rooms

 

11. Discuss Rhode Island State Police budget update

 

12. Update on legislative items: Tax structure

 

13. Discuss and act on a resolution to initiate legislation to amend tax rate structure on Block Island

 

14. Discuss Rhode Island Airport Corp. restaurant RFP

 

15. Discuss and act on Board, Commission and Committees:

a.   Appointment of Harbors Committee member, term expiring December 2024

b.   Appointment of Tourism Council member, term expiring December 2023
