Board of License Commissioners Agenda 
1. Discuss and act on an application for four F1 liquor licenses for Persephone’s Kitchen on August 15th and September 12, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at 235 Dodge Street, Plat 6, Lot 132
a. Approval of minutes: July 17, 2024; July 23, 2024; and July 30, 2024
b. Correspondence:
i. Nancy Pike - Consider purchasing the Harborside parcel and the moped rental business operated on the site
ii. Susan and Peter Gibbons – Objection to the application by Joan Abeshouse Grossman to construct a bridge across parts of Ambrose Swamp for the development of seven single family homes
iii. Elizabeth Noonan on behalf of Island Moped, Mile-Un-Ltd, Aldo’s Mopeds The Moped Man and Ocean State Bikes requesting the Town consider reconstituting the Safety Committee on Mopeds and Bicycles
iv. Chris Warfel:
1. The need for use of jute fencing to control dune and beach erosion
2. Taxpayer supported entities should be required to review and report on their investments
4. Discuss and act on request from Linda Pearson to consider acting on. or waiving the Town’s Right of First Refusal for her attainable Unit A5 at the Salt Pond Settlement Complex 
5. Discuss and act on application for permission to alter freshwater wetlands for end of High View Lane (Ambrose Swamp), # 22-0209 A.P. 8 Lots 231, 233, 236-240, 242 and 253 New Shoreham. RI 
6. Discuss and act on the funding of upgrades at the dispatch center

8. Discuss and act on the inclusion of a local question on the November General Election ballot to authorize spending for safety upgrades at police dispatch

10. Discuss and act on a potential Boating Infrastructure Grant Tier 2 
11. Update on the Thomas Property construction project 
12. Discussion and potential action regarding pending acquisition of Crocker Communications, Inc. (ISP for BroadbandBI) by AccessPlus as related to the Town’s contract with Crocker Communications, Inc. 
13. Discuss and act on Board, Commission and Committees:

i. Fill vacancy on Commission for Motor Vehicles for Hire – Chauffeur license allowed, term expiring 12/2026
ii. Fill vacancy for Alternate position on the Zoning Board, term expiring 12/2024

ii. Sewer District Commission: Two Alternate positions (1-year terms exp. 4/2025)
