1. Discuss negotiations between RI Council 94 AFSCME, AFL-CIO Local 2855 New Shoreham Employee’s Association and Town of New Shoreham and New Shoreham School Committee. This item may be discussed in closed session pursuant to RI General Laws 42-46-5(a) (2) Sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, or work sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation.

4. Continued from 5/7/2024 – Hold public hearing, discuss, and act on proposed amendment to New Shoreham General Ordinances adding a new Article to Chapter 8 Licenses and Business Regulations: Article XII. Residential Short-Term Rentals, Sections 8-320 – 8-331 
5. Act to set a public hearing for proposed amendment to New Shoreham General Ordinances adding a new Article to Chapter 8 Licenses and Business Regulations: Article XII. Residential Short-Term Rentals, Sections 8-320 – 8-331
6. Act to set a public hearing date for New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance regarding Tour Business, adding to Article 2, 202 Definitions, Article 3, adding Sections 306 – 312 and amending the Zoning Appendix B – Use Categories Allowed by Zoning District table 
7. Discuss and act on the creation of an ordinance re: tents and storage containers in the Old Harbor and New Harbor Zones and sending it to Planning Board to draft 
8. Receive update regarding the negotiations of the Town’s potential purchase of the Community Center Plat 6, Lot 90-9 and authorize the return of the grant, allocated for the purchase, to the state 
9. Discuss and award bids for Thomas Property construction: 
a. Electrical installation to Tyler Electric Service for $62,420
b. Plumbing installation to Oceanside Plumbing for $75,000
10. Review sea level rise resiliency RFP 
11. Act to give advice and consent on new hire for the Director of Human Services position 
12. Review of financial reports 
13. Receive and Act on Finance Director recommendations re: 
a. Authorization of over expenditures of certain appropriations, not exceeding the adopted FY2024 Budget
b. Assignment of 2024 capital and operating funds for use in 2025, renewal of prior years’ unexpended assignments and release of expired assignments
c. Authorize transfer of landing fees to the General Fund
d. Receive and act on recommendation regarding uncollectible taxes
e. Act on closing Washington Trust checking account for Block Island Prevention Task Force/Block Island Chemical Education Program
f. Act on opening bank checking accounts for New Shoreham Sewer Commission and Block Island School Construction
g. Receive and act on agreement for broadband consulting services between TNS Broadband Fund and Information Systems Technologies, Inc (Michele Spero, May 2024-October 2024)
14. Receive and act on Report of Town Manager (Public Works, Finance, School, School Construction Project, Library, Recreation, Administration, Harbors, Broadband, Police, Roads, Human Services)
