1.   Discuss and act to ratify the letter agreement between the Town of New Shoreham and Town Manager Maryanne Crawford. This may be held in closed session pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws 42-46-5(a)(1) Any discussions of the job performance, character, or physical or mental health of a person or persons provided that such person or persons affected shall have been notified in advance in writing and advised that they may require that the discussion be held at an open meeting

5.   Receive update from Allison Carley Human Services Director

 

6.   Review the Town Ordinance regarding Natural Resources Protection and discuss enforcement protocol

 

7.   Discuss and act to approve the contract for Shirlyne Gobern as Executive Assistant to the Town Manager

 

8.   Discuss and act on allocation of the remaining ARPA funds

 

9.   Review of financial reports

 

10. Receive and act on Report of Town Manager (Public Works, Finance, School, School Construction Project, Library, Recreation, Administration, Harbors, Broadband, Police, Roads, Human Services)

 

11. Discuss and act on establishing a safety committee regarding vehicles (mopeds, low-speed vehicles, bikes, scooters, etc.)

i.    Upcoming Interim Town Manger Amy Land member of the School Building Committee

ii.   Building Committee for the Public Safety Complex

b.   Announce vacancies:

i.    Commission on Motor Vehicles for Hire: One (not MVFH licensee) (term exp. 12/2026)

ii.   Sewer District Commission: Two Alternate positions (1-year terms exp. 4/2025)

iii.  Water District Commission: Two Alternate positions (1-year terms exp. 4/2025)

iv.  Building Committee for the Public Safety Complex
