Approving the issuance of bonds and /or notes in an amount not to exceed $3,200,000 for financing the excavation, removal, burial, reconstruction, repair and revetment construction associated with stabilization and maintenance of the shoreline side slope of the Town’s closed landfill and completion of the closure of the landfill, such work to be undertaken in conjunction with the permit applications approved by RI CRMC and RI DEM
b. Approving the issuance of bonds and/or notes in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 for financing the repair, replacement and/or improvement of Town roads and bridges
c. Approving the issuance of bonds and/or notes in an amount not to exceed $942,000 for financing capital improvements at the Block Island Water District
d. Approving the issuance of bonds and/or notes in an amount not to exceed $1,100,000 for financing the Town’s contribution to the acquisition, outfitting and equipping of a pumper/fire engine
15. Receive legislative update:
a. Department of Transportation funding for Highways maintenance and replacement of highway garage
b. Non-owner-occupied property tax
c. Tick-borne illness – Public health issue on Block Island
i. Deer mitigation (H8451)
ii. Tick mitigation (S2660)
d. Moped license retirement (S3187, H8388)
16. Act to fill the vacancy of New Shoreham Town Council member

18. Receive update on July 4th security plans. This item may be held in closed session pursuant to 42-46-5(a)(3) for discussion regarding the matter of security including, but not limited to, the deployment of security personnel or devices
