AGENDA

 

1.      Capital Improvement Program 2024 -2029.  Act on the consistency of the proposed Capital Improvement Program with the New Shoreham Comprehensive Plan.

 

2.      Block Island Housing Board. Plat 18, Lot 2-3. West Side Road.  Development Plan Review for an application for a Special Use Permit under Section 405, Affordable Housing for construction of eight (8) duplex structures, creating a total of sixteen (16) rental units, restricted to year-round residents. Review and act on waiver requests and set the public hearing.

 

3.      Town of New Shoreham. Plat 3, Lot 127. Mansion Road.  Advisory to the Zoning Board of Review for an Application by the Town Manager for a Special Use Permit under Section 306 (E) Government Facility for installation of public restrooms at Mansion Beach.

 

4.      Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Article 2, Section 202, Definitions, number 112, Lot Area, Discuss and Act on a request to provide the Town Council with findings and a recommendation for a proposed amendment by Marc Tillson to Zoning Ordinance Sections regarding Lot Area.  Planning advisory due to Council within 45 days of application May 4, 2023.

 

5.      Town of New Shoreham.  Plat 8, Lot 218. High Street.  PUBLIC HEARING for an Application for Development Plan Review for construction and renovations at the Thomas Property.  Zoning Ordinance Section 513, Town Employee Accessory Dwelling Units.  Demolish and rebuild the existing structure (Thomas House) for two Accessory Dwelling Units. Construction of a new structure for two Accessory Dwelling Units.

 

6.      The Margaret Millikin Trust, Charles E. Millikin, Trustee. Plat 8, Lot 194-2. Pilot Hill Road. Request for a one-year extension of the Preliminary Plan Approval recorded on May 2, 2022.

 

7.      Gorayeb, Christopher J. Plat 19, Lot 37. Fire # 919. Champlin Road.  Decision for an Application for Development Plan Review of an Application for a Special Use Permit under Article 3, Section 306(E); Article 4, Sections 401 and 403 to demolish all existing structures and rebuild a Secondary Dwelling Development.

 

8.      Gorayeb, Christopher J. Plat 19, Lot 37. Fire # 919. Champlin Road. Advisory to the Zoning Board of Review for an Application for a Special Use Permit under Article 3, Section 306(E); Article 4, Sections 401 and 403 for a for a Secondary Dwelling Development.  All existing structures to be razed.

 

9.      Filippi, Paul C. and Filippi, Blake A. Plat 19, Lot 9-1&2. Fire # 912 Champlin Road. Application for an Administrative Subdivision of land on Champlin Road.

 

10.  Fab Five, LLC. Plat 3, Lot 86-1. Fire # 1181 Corn Neck Road. PUBLIC HEARING for an Application for Development Plan Review of an Application for an Application for a Special Use Permit under Sections 306(C) and 406 to demolish an existing single-family dwelling and rebuild a single-family dwelling and an accessory structure. Request for a continuance.

 

11.  Discuss and Act on correspondence from House of Representative Tina Spears dated March 7, 2023.
