AGENDA
1. Introduce and Welcome Libra Planners
2. Public Hearing for Proposed Amendments New Shoreham Land Development and Subdivision Regulations. The Town is proposing amendments to multiple sections of the New Shoreham Land Development and Subdivision Regulations to bring the regulations into compliance with state law changes effective January 1, 2024. Proposed amendments include sections that concern:
Land Development and Subdivision Regulations:
Section 501, The Administrative Officer
Section 505, Board of Appeal
Section 506, Appeals to Superior Court
3. Affordable and Attainable Housing. Presentation by Weston and Sampson regarding strategies for affordable and attainable housing. Prioritize the list of strategies and identify feasible/favorable to implement in the short term.
4. Capital Improvement Program 2026 -2031. Act on the consistency of the proposed Capital Improvement Program with the New Shoreham Comprehensive Plan.
5. Ballards Inn Realty, LLC. Plat 7, Lot 23. Request for a Mylar to be signed off as subdivision is not required.
6. Tents and Storage Containers. Discuss and Act on a request from the Town Council to consider an ordinance regulating tents and storage containers and other ancillary used in all zones on the island.
7. Discussion regarding the Outdoor Lighting Ordinance Section 512 of the Zoning Ordinance.
8. Discuss and act on a recommendation to add properties to the Historic District.
