AGENDA

 

1.      Amendments to the New Shoreham Zoning Ordinance and Land Development and Subdivision Regulations for compliance with State Law. Review draft amendments and make a recommendation to the Town Council including a finding of consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. Consultant Weston & Sampson.

Section 506, Appeals to Superior Court

 

2.      Tents and Storage Containers.  Discuss and Act on a request from the Town Council to consider an ordinance regulating tents and storage containers and other ancillary used in all zones on the island. 

 

3.      Discussion regarding possible zoning amendment to clarify the language in Section 406(G)(4) regarding second story decks.

 

4.      Department of Environmental Management. Discuss and act on application for permission to alter freshwater wetlands for a proposed project at Assessor’s Plat 8, Lot 177, New Shoreham, application by John R. Leone., DEM application # 24-0030. The purpose of the proposed project is for the construction of a new 4-bedroom single family dwelling along with ancillary features. Application dated: September 17, 2024.  Notice period is 45 days to offer comments to the DEM.

 

5.      Technical Review Committee. Act on the Procedures for the Technical Review Committee

 

6.      Discussion regarding the Outdoor Lighting Ordinance Section 512 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

7.      Approval of Minutes

 

8.      Adjournment
