The Town of New Shoreham Zoning Board of Review will be in session for a meeting on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, 16 Old Town Road, Block Island, RI.
THE AGENDA IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY THE CHAIRMAN OR UPON MOTION OF ANY MEMBER
1. Approval of the 2025 Annual Meeting Schedule.
Applications:
1. Trahanas, Philip and Jennifer as Trustees of the Jennifer A. Trahanas Revocable Trust. Plat 14, Lot 31. Remanded to the Zoning Board by Superior Court WC-20222-0335. Appeal by Bluff Head, LLC, Michael Barile and Michele Ann McBride of a Decision of the Building Official issuing Permit to Philip P. Trahanas and Jennifer A. Trahanas as Co-Trustees of the Jennifer A. Trahanas Revocable Trust for construction of a fence.
2. Maguire, Mark and Jackson, Linda. Plat 11, Lot 10-2. Fire # 778 Mitchell Lane. 4. Eldh, Richard and Joyce Eldh, Plat 19, Lot 34. Fire # 925. Application for an amended Special Use Permit under Sections 306(E), 401 and 406 to retain the existing garage and convert it to a Section 513 Accessory Dwelling Unit.
5. Demos, The Family Trust, Gregory and Desiree Demos, Trustees. Plat 3, Lot 108. Application for a Variance under Section 306(C) for construction of an accessory structure.
6. Boston, David and Diane. Plat 19, Lot 35. Fire # 1199 Coast Guard Road. Application for a Variance from Section 113 and 314 for construction of an addition to a dwelling that is located in the Coastal Zone.
7. Gaffett, Lewis. Plat 6, Lot 3-3. Application by Thomas Martucci for a Special Use Permit under Section 408 for a change of use to an Inn.
