MINUTES OF THE JOINT CITY COUNCIL MEETING

WORKSHOP RE:  ROGERS HIGH SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on August 7, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at Pell Elementary School, 35 Dexter St., Newport, RI 02840

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop AT 6:48 p.m.  Aleitta Hall, Downes Construction, provided an update on the project.  Discussion occurred among the Council and School Committee members.  Joe DeSanti, Director of Project Management, Downes Construction provided information to the Council and School Committee regarding the history and timeline of the project.  Discussion continued among the Council, Mr. DeSanti and the School Committee regarding the project.
