WORKSHOP RE:  BUDGET OVERVIEW

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on  May 31, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.  Laura Sitrin, Finance Director provided an overview of the budget.  Discussion occurred among the Council, Director Sitrin, City Manager Joseph J. Nicholson, Esq. and City Solicitor Christopher J. Behan, Esq.
