Report and Order
WHEREAS: On March 19, 1998, John L. Atwood, Alternate Agent, Rhode Island Truck Owners Association, resubmitted supplement number 59, MF-RPUC-CRR-800 for charges, hourly rates and rules applying to residential movements of household goods between points in Rhode Island for the following certificated household goods' movers:
R. L. Davis Moving & Storage
Federal Van Lines, Inc.
Mullins & Crum Movers, Inc.
South County Movers, Inc.
WHEREAS: The Division is of the opinion that the proposed rates are reasonable and are generally in conformance with the rates of other moving companies in the State of Rhode Island.
Accordingly, it is
That the Division approves the rates specified in the tariff of the Rhode Island Truck Owners Association and that these rates are to become effective five (5) days from the date of this order.
