ORDER
WHEREAS, On July 16, 1998, Eagle Telecom, Inc. ("Company") filed with the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") its Statement of Business Operations and proposed services, rates, charges and regulations for approval as a Competitive Switchless Reseller ("CSR") of telecommunication services in Rhode Island; and
WHEREAS, The Company proposed to resell intrastate telecommunications services over transmission facilities leased from other carriers; and
WHEREAS, The Division of Public Utilities and Carriers ("Division") filed a memorandum indicating that it had reviewed the Company's application, found it to comport with the standards and procedures established in Docket No. 2129, and endorsed the application; and
WHEREAS, After review, the Commission finds the application made by the Company to be fair, reasonable and in the interests of the ratepayers;
ACCORDING, IT IS
1.) That the application made by Eagle Telecom, Inc. is hereby approved, effective August 16, 1998. The Company shall comply with the Regulations and Fee Schedules for Telecommunication Providers as requirements for annual reporting and payment of fees.
2.) That the Company is hereby instructed to send a registered letter notifying when actual operation will commence within Rhode Island. Registered notification shall be sent to the Commission and Division.
