ORDER
WHEREAS: On September 30, 1998, Ajax Service Corporation, dba: Blue Sun Super Service, operating under certificate number MC-777, a certificated tower subject to the provisions of Title 39, Chapter 12 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, filed a tariff for towing charges to become effective October 29, 1998.
WHEREAS: The Division of Public Utilities and Carriers is of the opinion that the public interest requires a thorough and complete investigation of the suggested rates. Therefore, the Division feels that a public hearing is warranted in this case.
Now therefore, it is
That the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers on its own motion and pursuant to the provisions of Title 39 of the Rhode Island General Laws, hereby suspends the proposed rate change.
That the Division has scheduled a hearing regarding this tariff for Tuesday, November 10, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in the Division hearing room located at 100 Orange Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
