Order 15726 - New Millenium: Appl. to Operate as Competitive Switchless Reseller

 

STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS

PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

ORDER TO RESCIND

WHEREAS, On October 14, 1997, Millennium Group Telemanagement LLC (Company") filed with the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") its Statement of Business Operations and proposed services, rates, charges and regulations for approval as a Competitive Switchless Reseller ("CSR") of telecommunications services in Rhode Island  [1 Registration approved on October 22, 1997. Order No. 15426.]; and

WHEREAS, On October 5, 1998, the Company requested discontinuance of authority to operate in Rhode Island; and

WHEREAS, On October 14, 1998, the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers filed a memorandum recommending that the registration of the Company be recalled and rescinded;

(15726) ORDERED:

1) That the registration as Competitive Switchless Reseller of Millennium Group Telemanagement LLC is hereby revoked.

2) That the Company is not authorized to provide telecommunications service as a CSR in the State of Rhode Island.

EFFECTIVE AT PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND ON OCTOBER 20, 1998, PURSUANT TO OPEN MEETING DECISION.
