REPORT AND ORDER
WHEREAS: By application filed with the Division of Public Utilities and Carriers, ("Division"), Dennis A. Zincone, dba: Park Avenue Towing, Cranston, Rhode Island 02910, seeks operating authority in the transportation of motor vehicles over irregular routes throughout Rhode Island in accordance with Rhode Island General Laws, Title 39, Chapter 12.
WHEREAS: Following a notice of hearing in this matter, the Division scheduled a hearing for November 4, 1998.
WHEREAS: Mr. Zincone stated on his application that he was not charged and convicted of any criminal offense within the past six years. However, his BCI check revealed that he was put on 2 years probation on May 1, 1997 for forgery.
WHEREAS: Mr. Zincone's application check in the amount of $100 was returned to the Division on November 4, 1998 for insufficient funds.
WHEREAS: The Applicant, Dennis A. Zincone, failed to appear for his hearing and did not contact the Division stating that he would be unable to attend.
Accordingly, it is
That the application of Dennis A. Zincone is hereby denied.
