City Council, December 7, 2022

 

 

A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council is held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 7:58 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Moran, Councilors Araujo, Gregor, Stachowiak, Vasquez and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilors DaRosa, Mercer and Schuette.

 

President Moran presides.

 

The reading of the records of the November 22, 2022 City Council meeting, Finance Committee/City Property Committee meeting and Finance Committee meeting, as well as the November 28, 2022 City Council meeting and Finance Committee/Ordinance Committee meeting is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

            A.     Resolution from the Town of Little Compton urging the RI General Assembly to Recognize June 19th, Juneteenth National Independence Day, as an official RI State Holiday IS READ AND ORDERED FILED

           

            B.     Communication from Anthony Hebert, Economic & Cultural Affairs Officer, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council – Local Historic District Nomination, 214 Beverage Hill Ave (AP 38; Lot 374) IS READ AND ORDERED FILED
