WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, 2025

A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council was held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 7:05 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2^nd Floor, 100 Freight St., Pawtucket, RI.

Present – President Mercer; Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

Absent – Councilor Gregor.

President Mercer presided.

1. The reading of the records of the April 9, 2025 Finance Committee meeting, Committee on Claims and Pending Suits meeting, and City Council meeting was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

2. Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote:

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING THE SCHEDULE OF PAY RATES FOR LOCAL 1012 IN §88-12 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996 (RECLASSIFICATION – ACCOUNTANT II) SUBSTITUTE A - WAS LAID ON THE TALE AND REFERRED TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

3. 609 Communication from Christopher Montalto, Supervisor, Distribution Design, RI Energy, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council, submitting the installation of conduits to existing poles at Taft St. WAS APPROVED PENDING APPROVAL FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

Council President Mercer adjourned the meeting in memory of Senate President Dominick Ruggerio and John E. Moran at 7:16 PM.
