A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council was held Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 12:39 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 100 Freight St., Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Mercer; Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Moran.
President Mercer presided.
The reading of the records of the July 9, 2025 Committee on Claims and Pending Suits meeting and City Council meeting was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZED COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Araujo, the agenda was amended to include the following on a unanimous voice vote:
Communication from Tina Goncalves, Chief, Pawtucket Police, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council (Municipal Court Technology Surcharge Fees)
AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTERS 26 AND 40 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, REGARDING MUNICIPAL COURT AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TECHNOLOGY SURCHARGE FUND
Upon motion made by Councilor Moreno, seconded by Councilors Araujo and Rubio, the following communication was READ AND ORDERED FILED and the following ordinance was LAID ON THE TABLE AND REFERRED TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, on a unanimous voice vote:

Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by the entire City Council, the meeting was adjourned in memory of Ann Toole and Kenneth Noiseux at 12:46 PM.
